Non-ablative fractional laser resurfacing. Tone, texture, and sun damage — addressed at the dermal level.
Sun damage, fine lines, and texture irregularity begin in the upper dermis — where collagen fibres have thinned and melanin has accumulated unevenly. LaseMD uses non-ablative fractional laser energy to heat these deeper layers, triggering collagen remodelling and cellular turnover without disrupting the skin's surface barrier.
The result: improved tone, refined texture, and reduced appearance of sun damage — with a recovery period measured in days, not weeks.
Cumulative UV exposure causes melanin to accumulate unevenly in the upper dermis — producing flat dark spots, uneven tone, and dullness. LaseMD targets this layer directly, stimulating cellular turnover that gradually clears accumulated pigment from below.
As collagen thins in the upper dermis, the skin loses its structural support and surface lines deepen. LaseMD stimulates new collagen production in the dermis — improving the appearance of fine lines progressively over 10–12 weeks.
Rough or uneven surface texture is a sign of sluggish cellular renewal — dead skin cells accumulating faster than they turn over. The fractional laser accelerates this cycle, refining texture without disrupting the outer barrier.
When cellular renewal slows with age or sun damage, skin loses its natural luminosity. LaseMD supports the renewal process at the dermal level, contributing to a more even, clearer complexion over a series of treatments.
Mild post-inflammatory marks from acne or irritation — where discolouration sits in the upper dermis rather than deep atrophic scarring — may respond to LaseMD. Deeper acne scarring is better addressed with RF Microneedling or the Acne Scar multi-approach programme.
LaseMD targets the dermal layer where pigment accumulates and collagen thins — addressing the root cause of tone and texture changes, not just the surface.
LaseMD heats the dermis fractionally without removing the outer skin layer. The surface stays intact during treatment — which is what keeps downtime to days rather than weeks.
The fractional laser energy reaches the dermis where collagen thinning occurs, triggering the skin's own repair response. Results build progressively over 12 weeks as new collagen forms.
Treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. Most patients experience redness and a sandpaper texture for 3–7 days, after which results begin to emerge. The improvement continues for up to 12 weeks.

What we recommend after your treatment
LaseMD uses non-ablative fractional technology to deliver laser energy in a pattern of microscopic columns into the skin. Each column heats the dermis — stimulating collagen production and cellular turnover in the treated zones — while leaving surrounding tissue intact to support fast recovery.
Unlike ablative lasers that remove the outer skin layer, LaseMD works beneath the surface. The outer barrier stays intact. Downtime is limited to the natural shedding of the skin's upper layers as the renewal cycle accelerates.

Yes — LaseMD is a non-ablative fractional laser. Unlike ablative lasers, it does not remove the outer skin layer. It delivers energy beneath the surface to stimulate collagen without extended downtime.
Most patients experience 3–7 days of redness, dryness, and a sandpaper texture as the skin renews. You can return to most activities within 24 hours, though we recommend avoiding heavy exercise and heat for the first day.
Visible improvement typically begins around day 10. Results continue to develop and reach their peak around 12 weeks as new collagen matures.
3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typical. Your provider builds the right plan at consultation based on your skin and goals.
Yes. LaseMD pairs well with SkinPen microneedling (spaced appropriately) and is used as the laser component in our KeraLase™ hair restoration treatment.
