DERMAL FILLERS

A dermal filler is a gel that can be injected into the skin to restore a smoother appearance, smooth out wrinkles, or improve volume loss. Dermal fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that can boost volume and hydration. Many of the visible effects of aging are caused by volume loss, as we slowly lose bone volume, muscle mass, and facial fat over time. This, in addition to gravity, friction from side sleeping, and sun damage, can lead to facial aging. Using dermal fillers can restore volume and provide a more youthful appearance by smoothing wrinkles, plumping the lips, improving facial contours, and rejuvenating the face. Dermal filler injections are a cost-effective way to restore or rejuvenate one’s appearance.
