FILLER CORRECTION DISSOLVER
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are gels made of stabilized hyaluronic acid that may be used to correct wrinkles, folds and facial lines, enhance the appearance of lips or contour the face.
Occasionally, these fillers must be removed when the aesthetic procedure has not produced the intended result, or there is a danger of vascular obstruction or impending necrosis (tissue death)
Hyaluronidase has an off-label use in aesthetic medicine.

Types of Filler Dissolver treatments we offer :
- We offer filler correction options using dissolver (hyaluronidase - Hylenex), microneedling with radiofrequency (Lutronic Genius) or a combination of both
- For lip filler correction, we use hylenex
- For clients with overfilled syndrome (aka "pillowface"), we recommend a series of microneedling with radiofrequency to dissolve as much of the filler as possible and shrink the skin. (This is not for lips)
A one-on-one consultation is necessary for each hyaluronidase or filler dissolution treatment. If you received an unsatisfactory filler job from another provider, we are happy to offer you a free 30-minute consultation. We will properly assess your current condition during your consultation and see how we can best help you. We are not a one-size-fits-all type of clinic, so we take pride in offering individualized care for each patient to ensure you get the best care possible.

Filler Correction Dissolver FAQs
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme, purified from ovine hyaluronidase or recombinant human hyaluronidase.
Hyaluronidase will help speed up the natural breakdown of hyaluronic acid through hydrolysis. Various factors will influence the administration and dosage – for example, the type of HA filler, time since injections and amount of HA injected.
Hyaluronidase can be used to remove filler for a variety of reasons, including over injection, lumpiness or unwanted outcome. Another side effect that can be resolved with hyaluronidase is when the Tyndall effect presents itself. This is when the HA is too superficially placed and creates a bluish discoloration of the skin. Hyaluronidase may also be used if filler is inadvertently injected into a blood vessel or if infection occurs following treatment.
Breakdown of intrinsic HA
- Hyaluronidase will break down your own bodies HA as well as filler. Not to worry, our natural HA is reproduced every 24 hours.
Allergy
- Allergic reaction may occur. If you are allergic to bee stings, you might be allergic to hyaluronidase.
- Get emergency medical help immediately if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
- Allergic reactions have been reported in less than 0.1% of patients receiving hyaluronidase.
Infection
- Hyaluronidase should not be injected into or around infected or acutely inflamed areas because of the danger of spreading to a localized infection.
Dissolver should not be used during pregnancy or while nursing.
