Hair Restoration With EzPRF FAQs
An EzPRF treatment involves spinning the patient's blood in a centrifuge. This process uses the body's own platelet-rich fibrin and stem cells to generate new hair growth and thicken hair. EzPRF is then injected into the scalp, where hair loss occurs.
We will provide topical lidocaine before treatment, but there is no anesthesia required.
The procedure takes 60-90 minutes (or longer), depending on the area being treated.
How well do PRF treatments help in hair regeneration?
Although patients generally see optimum results after four treatments, they may need future maintenance treatments every six to twelve months. We've seen success rates near 80% with this treatment plan. PRF is safe, discreet, and professional.
Treatment should be done every 2-6 weeks for six treatments.
We will discuss your medical history and all supplements and other medications you are taking. Certain drugs and supplements decrease the ability of our blood to clot, causing bleeding and bruising, so they may need to be paused.
